PM Modi Hosts Delegation Members, Emphasizes India’s Global Commitment to Peace

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today hosted members of various delegations at his official residence, 7, Lok Kalyan Marg. These delegations—comprising sitting MPs from across party lines, former parliamentarians, and senior diplomats—had recently undertaken visits to several countries to strengthen India’s diplomatic and parliamentary outreach.

During the informal interaction, the delegation members shared insights from their international engagements, highlighting key discussions held with foreign leaders, parliamentarians, and civil society groups. A central theme echoed across the delegations was India’s firm stance against terrorism and its deep-rooted commitment to global peace and cooperation.

According to officials present, Prime Minister Modi appreciated the efforts of all members involved in these outreach missions. He commended the cross-party collaboration and stressed the importance of continued dialogue between Indian representatives and international stakeholders.

“The delegations have done commendable work in presenting India’s perspective on critical global issues,” a senior government official said. “The Prime Minister also reiterated the government’s intent to institutionalize such outreach efforts and increase global engagement through parliamentary diplomacy.”
