Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently spoke about India's growing prowess in the space sector, emphasizing the nation’s ability to achieve remarkable success with limited resources. At an event in Delhi, Modi proudly remarked that while other countries spent billions to reach their space milestones, Indian scientists have accomplished similar feats efficiently. He pointed to India's historic achievement of being the first nation to land on the south pole of the moon as a symbol of this resourcefulness.

Modi further elaborated on the country's upcoming space initiatives, particularly Mission Gaganyaan. He described it not just as a mission to send humans into space but as a bold step toward realizing the country’s broader scientific ambitions. India, he said, is preparing to reach new heights with its space program, including the ambitious goal of establishing its own space station by 2035. Modi added that the government recently approved the first phase of this space station project.

Shifting focus to another crucial area of technological advancement, Modi highlighted the importance of semiconductors in modern development. He mentioned the Indian government’s efforts to create a robust semiconductor ecosystem through the India Semiconductor Mission, which aims to position the country as a key player in the global supply chain.

In just a short time, Modi noted, positive results from the mission are already visible, and India is preparing to become an essential part of the semiconductor industry.
