Navi Mumbai: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday spoke about the impact of the upcoming GST reforms in 2025, highlighting how the measures are making goods more affordable and boosting consumer purchasing power.
“The next-generation reforms in GST have made many items more affordable, boosting people’s purchasing power. This Navratri, spending has increased, reflecting growing confidence,” Modi said, noting the positive effects on retail activity during the festive season.
The Prime Minister emphasized that the government will continue to implement initiatives aimed at easing the lives of citizens and supporting economic growth. He also urged the public to prioritize Swadeshi products. “I also urge everyone to use Swadeshi products, as this will strengthen our economy by keeping Indian money within the country,” he stated.
