Itanagar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday described Arunachal Pradesh as a symbol of patriotism, courage, and peace, during his address to a large public gathering in Itanagar.

“Arunachal is the land of patriotism. Just as the first colour of the national flag is saffron, Arunachal’s first hue is also saffron. Every person here symbolises courage and represents peace,” Modi said, drawing parallels between the state’s cultural ethos and the values represented by the Indian tricolour.

The Prime Minister’s remarks highlighted the strategic and emotional importance of the northeastern state, often referred to as the gateway to India’s eastern frontier. He underscored Arunachal’s role in safeguarding national unity and identity, while also acknowledging the contributions of its people to India’s cultural and social fabric.
