Modi emphasised that the BSF’s service in some of the most difficult and unpredictable locations across the country reflects not only military strength but also a deep-rooted spirit of commitment. He praised the personnel for displaying exceptional courage, especially in terrains where weather, geography and constant security threats pose continuous challenges.
Alongside valour and operational excellence, Modi noted the humanitarian aspect of the force, mentioning how BSF personnel have often been first responders during natural calamities and community crises near border regions. Their ability to combine strict vigilance with compassion distinguishes them as one of India’s most dependable defence forces, he said.
