Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday extended greetings on the occasion of Hindi Day, emphasizing the importance of the language as a cultural and national treasure. In a message shared on social media, the Prime Minister described Hindi as “not merely a medium of communication, but a vibrant legacy of our identity and values.”
He urged citizens to collectively work towards enriching all Indian languages, including Hindi, and to ensure that future generations inherit them with pride. “On this occasion, let us all together resolve to enrich all Indian languages including Hindi and to pass them on to the coming generations with pride,” Modi stated.
The Prime Minister also highlighted the growing recognition of Hindi on the global stage, calling it both a matter of pride and inspiration. “The growing respect for Hindi on the world stage is a matter of pride and inspiration for all of us,” he added.
