Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with Lakhpati Didis in Navsari today, engaging with them personally while taking notes on their inspiring success stories. Many of the women credited his policies and leadership for their financial empowerment, sharing how they transformed their livelihoods through self-reliance and entrepreneurship.
Encouraged by their progress, PM Modi expressed optimism that the initial goal of creating 3 crore Lakhpati Didis could soon be exceeded, with the potential to reach 5 crore in the near future. Some women even envisioned a future where they could transition from being Lakhpati Didis to Crorepati Didis under his continued leadership.
During the interaction, the Prime Minister urged the women to embrace digital platforms to scale their businesses, reinforcing their role in the vision of Viksit Bharat (Developed India). He emphasized the power of technology in expanding markets and increasing income, inspiring the women to take their entrepreneurial ventures to the next level.
