New Delhi: In a landmark event for education in India, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has inaugurated its new headquarters in Dwarka, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi dedicating it to the nation. The event also witnessed the laying of foundation stones for the East Delhi Campus, West Delhi Campus, and a new college in Najafgarh.
Speaking on the occasion, Sanjay Kumar, Secretary of the Department of School Education and Literacy, Ministry of Education, expressed pride in the developments. “Today is a great day for the Ministry of Education. CBSE has got a new headquarters in Dwarka, and PM Modi has dedicated it to the nation. Today the foundation stone of East Delhi Campus and West Delhi Campus has been laid, and a new college is coming up in Najafgarh,” he said.
The projects reflect the government’s commitment to advancing the goals of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, which emphasizes holistic and accessible education. “This shows how keen we are to implement the National Education Policy 2020,” Kumar added.
The new CBSE headquarters is equipped with modern infrastructure and facilities, aimed at enhancing administrative efficiency and fostering innovation in education. Meanwhile, the new campuses and college are expected to provide students with better access to quality education in Delhi.
