Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the approval of Phase-III of the Centrally Sponsored Scheme, highlighting its potential to expand medical education and healthcare infrastructure across India. In a post on social media, he noted that the scheme will add a significant number of postgraduate (PG) and undergraduate (UG) medical seats, addressing the growing demand for skilled medical professionals.
“The approval of Phase-III of the Centrally Sponsored Scheme will add significant PG and UG medical seats. This will improve our healthcare system and enhance medical education infrastructure. It will ensure that every part of India has availability of skilled doctors,” the Prime Minister stated.
