Extending his congratulations to those who will benefit from the scheme, he reaffirmed his government’s commitment to ensuring that no one goes hungry. “In the past years, our government has focused on easing the worries of the needy about food and meals,” he added.
The initiative aligns with the government’s broader efforts to provide social security and support to economically weaker sections. Over the years, programs like the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana (PMGKAY) have played a crucial role in delivering free food grains to millions across the country, reinforcing India's mission to eradicate hunger.
