Coromandel Express: PM announces financial assistance of Rs 2 lakh

BY A STAFF REPORTER:  The Karmandal Express met with a major accident in Balasore on Friday.  Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced an ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakh to the next of kin of those killed and Rs 50,000 to those injured in the train accident in Odisha. The Prime Minister has given a message of solidarity with the injured in this terrible accident.  Union Railway Minister Ashwani Vaishnav has announced financial assistance in the accident.
