“Please take some action against the guilty”

Will some heads role? A signalling error lead to the death of 288 passengers and injury to more than 1000 travellers in the ill fated two trains at Balasore. According to Jaya Sinha Verma member operations and business, there was an issue with the signal. What was the issue? Was it a failure on part of a railway official? Has it been a human failure? Was officials complacent about their jobs? The cause has been identified but what action has been taken? Prime minister Narendra Modi has warned of stern action against the guilty. When will railway ministry take action against the perpetrators? Lives have been lost, and confidence on the railways is at all time low.  Railway passengers asked these question and demanded to know what action has been taken.
