Pawan Khera Questions ‘Operation Sindoor’, Calls PM Modi a ‘Coward’ Over Foreign Influence and Ceasefire Claims
Congress’s Pawan Khera slams PM Modi’s leadership over ‘Operation Sindoor’, alleges foreign influence in ceasefire, says Modi afraid of China and America.
New Delhi: Congress leader Pawan Khera on Monday launched a scathing attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, raising serious questions over the government’s handling of ‘Operation Sindoor’, a recent military operation whose details remain largely classified. Khera accused the Prime Minister of weak leadership and alleged that India’s strategic decisions were being influenced by foreign powers.

“There are several unanswered questions surrounding Operation Sindoor,” Khera said. “We have consistently maintained that the hands of our forces were tied by the weak political leadership. Narendra Modi himself is responsible — a very weak Prime Minister, a coward who is afraid of China and America,” he alleged during a press interaction.
Khera particularly raised concerns over former U.S. President Donald Trump’s repeated claims of having brokered a ceasefire that followed the operation. “Why was the ceasefire announced by Donald Trump? He has claimed 19 times that it was him who got the ceasefire implemented. Why hasn’t the Indian government countered this publicly?” Khera questioned, implying a lack of transparency and national autonomy in decision-making.
