Pakistani Army Attempts Drone Attack on Military Installations, Says Colonel Sofiya Qureshi

In a recent press briefing, Colonel Sofiya Qureshi disclosed that the Pakistani army attempted to infiltrate military installations on India’s western borders during the night of May 8-9, 2025. According to Colonel Qureshi, the Pakistani forces launched a series of drone operations, from Leh to Sir Creek, in an effort to breach security.

The drones were deployed strategically to target key military positions, but prompt countermeasures by the Indian Army reportedly neutralized the threat. No casualties were reported, and the integrity of the military installations remains intact. Colonel Qureshi emphasized that the use of drones by the Pakistani army signifies an escalating trend in modern warfare tactics, underlining the urgency of enhanced vigilance along the border.
