New Delhi: Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Priyanka Chaturvedi on Sunday stated that the Opposition will bring up several key issues, including the recent Pahalgam attack and the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) exercise in Bihar, during the ongoing monsoon session of Parliament.

“After the Pahalgam attack, this will be the first session. Many demands were made to conduct a special session, but it was not done,” Chaturvedi said. “In this monsoon session, everything will be discussed—intelligence failure, why the terrorists have not been arrested, and concerns over sketch mismatches reported in the media.”

The Pahalgam incident, which claimed 26 lives, has drawn criticism and concern from across party lines. Chaturvedi said the tragedy has had a serious impact on Jammu and Kashmir’s tourism sector and requires a thorough discussion in Parliament.

She also noted that the Opposition aims to raise other matters such as Operation Sindoor, rising unemployment, and the Election Commission’s SIR process in Bihar, which is being conducted just months before the upcoming elections. “The work that was happening behind the scenes is now happening openly through SIR,” she alleged.
