Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has strongly condemned the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, asserting that the state stands firmly against such acts of violence and will not support them under any circumstances. His remarks came following a high-level meeting held in the wake of the attack, which left the region in shock and prompted swift action from both state and central authorities.
“We are not with this act of terror and will not support it in future,” Abdullah stated via social media, making his government’s stance abundantly clear. He acknowledged that several important suggestions were shared during the review meeting, and assured that the administration would work diligently to implement them.
Highlighting concerns for the safety of Kashmiri citizens residing outside the state, Abdullah added, “The Home Minister has decided to take all preventive measures to secure our Kashmiri students and traders.”
