Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh: In preparation for the Maha Kumbh 2025, the Uttar Pradesh government is constructing Nishadraj Park in the Shringaverpur area, which is part of the renowned Ramayan Circuit. Aparajita Singh, Regional Tourism Officer of Prayagraj, shared details about the ongoing project, aimed at enhancing the cultural and tourism experience for visitors.
"Nishadraj Park is being constructed in the Shringaverpur area, which comes under the Ramayan circuit. The statues of Lord Ram and Nishadraj Guha are being installed there. Sculptures have been set up, and meditation rooms and cafeterias have been established to give tourism a boost," Singh said.
The park will serve as a significant cultural and spiritual attraction during the Maha Kumbh Mela, adding to the religious significance of the region. The installation of statues and sculptures will highlight the stories from the Ramayana, while the inclusion of modern amenities such as meditation rooms and cafeterias is aimed at providing a comfortable and enriching experience for visitors.
This initiative is part of Uttar Pradesh's broader efforts to develop infrastructure and promote tourism around the Kumbh Mela, attracting both domestic and international visitors. With the construction of Nishadraj Park, the state aims to showcase its rich cultural heritage and make the Maha Kumbh 2025 an even more memorable experience for pilgrims and tourists alike.
