New Delhi: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has issued a public appeal for assistance in its ongoing investigation into the recent terror attack on tourists in Pahalgam, Jammu & Kashmir. The agency has called on all tourists, visitors, and local residents who may possess any relevant information, photographs, or video evidence related to the incident to come forward and cooperate.
In an official statement, the NIA requested individuals to contact the agency through mobile number 9654958816 or landline 011-24368800. Callers are encouraged to provide their personal details and briefly describe the type of information or material they intend to share.
“A senior NIA official will then connect with the caller and facilitate the secure transfer of relevant information, photos, or videos to aid the investigation,” the agency stated.
The Pahalgam terror attack, which targeted civilians and drew nationwide condemnation, has triggered a high-priority probe by national security agencies. As part of its efforts to reconstruct the sequence of events and identify those responsible, the NIA is banking on crowd-sourced evidence that could fill critical gaps in surveillance and intelligence.
