Nepal: EAM S. Jaishankar to Visit Kathmandu This Week
The purpose of this visit is to strengthen bilateral ties between the two countries. Additionally, Jaishankar will co-chair a meeting along with Nepal’s Foreign minister, N.P. Saud.
BY A STAFF REPORTER: External affairs minister, Subramaniam Jaishankar will undertake a two-day visit to Nepal from 4th January on invitation from his Nepali counterpart, N.P. Saud.

The purpose of this visit is to strengthen bilateral ties between the two countries. Additionally, Jaishankar will co-chair a meeting along with Nepal’s Foreign minister, N.P. Saud. Agreements regarding the purchase of 10,000 MW of Hydropower from Nepal, discussions on air connectivity, digital payments, and the inauguration of developmental projects are included in the planned topics.
