MP police claim massive success against the Maoists

BY A STAFF REPORTER: After the initial success against the Maoists in deep jungles in Kerajhari forest in Balaghat in Madhya Pradesh, police are carrying out sweeping operations as there are enough indications to point to the fact that several more of the ultras are either dead or heavily injured. Speaking exclusively with ANM News, Inspector General of police, Balaghat range, Sanjay Kumar mentioned that police have found blood trails deep inside the forest. “There are bags and materials left behind by the Maoists and bullet holes in many of the stuff which indicate that many are injured. There are massive blood trails and soaked clothes,” he added. MP police had carried out a massive coordinated operation against the leftist ultras in which two of the top commanders were shot dead. “We will carry out this sweeping operation for some more time. Combing operations are going on at the moment inside the forest,” Sanjay Kumar said.
