Pu Lalduhoma convened with Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the first time after assuming the Chief Minister’s charge on 8th December 2023.
Moreover, the Zoram People’s Movement Leader is the first Chief Minister who does not belong to either the Mizo National Front (MNF) or the Congress party in the state.
Additionally, ZPM won 27 out of 40 assembly constituencies in the Mizoram elections held in November. Besides, Lalduhoma met the Minister of External Affairs, S. Jaishankar on Wednesday and discussed how the External Affairs Ministry could coordinate more closely with the Mizoram Government.
