Massive success for BSF as 29 naxalites killed in an encounter

By Avijit Nandi Majumdar: The death toll in the encounter between the naxalites and BSF in Chattishgarh has risen to 29, according to Nitin Agrawal, director general of the force. Speaking exclusively with ANM News, Agrawal said that mopping up operations are currently going on in the dense forest.

 “We have counted 29 bodies and massive cache of sophisticated arms and ammunitions. There can be more naxalite casualties. This is the biggest encounter in recent time,” Agrawal said.

Incidentally , acting on a tip off a joint team of BSF crack anti naxalite commandos and DRG of Chattishgarh police launched the operation which lasted for three hours.
