On the occasion of International Day of Persons with Disabilities, BJP MP Manoj Tiwari praised the initiatives of Special Olympics India during a program organized to celebrate the day. Speaking at the event, he said, “This program is very unique, and Special Olympics India President Mallika Nadda is consistently organizing such remarkable events. Their efforts are aimed at bringing joy and hope into the lives of special children.”

Highlighting the importance of inclusivity, Tiwari referred to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision for the country, emphasizing that every individual should prioritize the well-being of children with special needs. “The Prime Minister believes that special children deserve a separate platform to showcase their talents and receive the support they need to thrive,” he added.

The event underscored the role of Special Olympics India in empowering children with disabilities through sports and community engagement. It also reflected on the global theme of this year’s International Day of Persons with Disabilities, which calls for transformative solutions for inclusive development.
