Beautiful state of Manipur has been turned into a battlefield: Kharge

Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge has once again criticised the Modi government over the Manipur issue. The recent death of two students in Manipur has created a furore. Mallikarjun Kharge says, "The people of Manipur have been suffering for 147 days, but Prime Minister Narendra Modi has no time to visit the state. The horrific image of students being targeted in the ongoing violence has once again shocked the entire nation. It is now clear that violence against women and children was used as a weapon in this conflict. The beautiful state of Manipur has become a battleground, all because of the BJP.  Prime Minister Narendra Modi is not sacking the incompetent Chief Minister of Manipur. This would be the first step in controlling any further unrest." 

For 147 days, people of Manipur are suffering, but PM Modi does not have time to visit the state.



The horrific images of students being targeted in this violence has once again shocked the entire nation.
