Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge made a big comment after the I.N.D.I.A. Alliance meeting. He says, "The price of gas has been reduced by Tk 100 to Tk 2. The Centre is now cutting the pockets of the poor. India needs to fight price rise. Why was a special session of Parliament not called when Manipur was burning, why is it being called now? On the one hand, Adani is thriving when the income of the country's people is declining. '’
