Mumbai, Maharashtra: Chief Minister Eknath Shinde provided updates on Mumbai's rainfall situation, stating the city received 300mm of rain since last night. He highlighted the deployment of over 200 water pumps from the Railways and more than 400 BMC water pumps to drain floodwater.

"Trains on the Central and Harbour lines have resumed," Shinde confirmed, indicating progress in restoring transportation services affected by the heavy rainfall. He emphasized the readiness of disaster management authorities, along with the Army, Navy, and Air Force, who are on high alert to manage any emergent situations.
