As tensions between India and Pakistan escalate, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has reaffirmed India’s unwavering stance against terrorism and the country’s readiness to confront any challenges posed by its western neighbor. Speaking in Pune, Fadnavis condemned Pakistan, calling it a “terrorist country” that has long supported terrorism.
"Pakistan is a terrorist country; it has always supported terrorism. However, India will not stop now. Under the leadership of the Prime Minister, our army is giving an appropriate response,” Fadnavis asserted, echoing the sentiment of national pride in India’s military capabilities. He expressed full confidence in the Indian Armed Forces and emphasized the importance of their decisive actions in safeguarding the nation.
Regarding the preparedness of Maharashtra in the face of potential threats, Fadnavis assured that the state government has taken necessary precautions. "Just yesterday, we held a meeting based on the war book to determine the precautions we should take. We are taking those necessary measures,” he stated. The war book refers to a set of emergency protocols and guidelines to follow in times of national crisis or conflict.
