Heavy rain! Landslide on national highway

BY A STAFF REPORTER: Manipur is burning with violence. And the north-east Indian state of Mizoram is reeling under heavy rains. Normal life in Mizoram has been completely disrupted due to incessant rains. Heavy rains triggered massive landslides on National Highway 6. As a result, traffic was completely stopped there. After some time, the work of removing debris, boulders, stone pieces from the national highway started. Mizoram is now virtually isolated.

It is not yet known when traffic will resume on National Highway 6, which connects Mizoram with the rest of India.
