Davos, Switzerland: In a significant move at the World Economic Forum (WEF), the JSW Group has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Maharashtra government for a massive Rs 3 lakh crore investment in the state. The deal was officially announced during the high-profile event in Davos.

The investment will be directed towards multiple key sectors, with a strong emphasis on steel, renewable energy, electric vehicles (EVs), and lithium-ion batteries. Additionally, the agreement aims to boost Maharashtra's infrastructure and cement industries, alongside the production of solar wafer and cell modules, which are critical for the country’s clean energy future.
