Union Minister and BJP President JP Nadda, addressing party workers in Delhi, emphasized the electoral message of unity and development while criticizing the opposition's alleged divisive strategies. Reflecting on recent electoral results, Nadda attributed the BJP’s successes to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s development-oriented governance and the people’s rejection of divisive politics.
"This election also gave the message that those who divided the society had to face a crushing defeat, and people have appreciated PM Modi's development policies," Nadda stated.
He accused the opposition INDI alliance of attempting to gain power by exploiting societal divisions. "For some time now, the INDI alliance had the illusion that they would gain power by dividing people in the name of caste, constitution, religion. Haryana and Maharashtra have given them an answer," he remarked, highlighting the recent electoral setbacks faced by the opposition.
Nadda also revisited the political developments of 2019, particularly targeting Uddhav Thackeray. "In 2019, Uddhav Thackeray insulted the mandate, but today the people of Maharashtra have shown that they are with the Mahayuti and PM Modi," he declared, referring to the BJP-led alliance’s reaffirmed support in the state.
Nadda’s address reinforced the BJP’s narrative of national unity, economic progress, and robust leadership under PM Modi, while positioning the opposition as out of touch with the public’s aspirations. His remarks come amid the party’s preparation for upcoming electoral battles across the
country.
