Davos, Switzerland: Union Minister Jayant Singh Chaudhary, speaking at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, emphasized India’s growing appeal as a trusted partner for foreign investments, drawing attention to the country’s political stability, business-friendly policies, and dynamic workforce.
In a lighthearted comment about the chilly weather in Davos, Chaudhary noted, "It is cold in Davos but a warm welcome has been extended by the leaders and our delegation from India to all investors." He went on to underline that India, as part of its 'Viksit Bharat' campaign, aims to be a hub for investment and innovation.
Chaudhary stressed the government’s efforts in creating a conducive environment for business, citing initiatives to enhance ease of doing business and promote growth. "Foreign investors will take note of the work the government has done to promote ease of doing business, political stability and drive growth and innovation," he said, highlighting how these efforts aim to position India as a major global player.
The Minister also focused on India’s skilled and adaptable youth, speaking about the country's growing workforce as a key asset for future growth. "I am here to talk about skills, the power of your youth and the adaptability of our workforce... We are taking big steps for the future," he remarked, emphasizing that the youth-driven talent pool is integral to India’s long-term success in the global economy.
