New Delhi – In preparation for the upcoming Republic Day 2025 celebrations and the Delhi Legislative Assembly elections, an Interstate Coordination meeting was convened at the Delhi Police Headquarters under the leadership of Delhi Police Commissioner Sanjay Arora.
The meeting aimed to enhance cooperation among various law enforcement agencies (LEAs) and address key security and operational issues. Senior police officers from Haryana, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Uttarakhand, Bihar, Rajasthan, Chandigarh, and Jammu & Kashmir participated, along with representatives from Central Police Organizations (CPOs).
Key divisions of the Delhi Police, including the Special Cell, Transport, Law & Order, Crime, Protective Security, Traffic, and Intelligence units, were also represented. Joint Commissioners, Additional Commissioners, and Deputy Commissioners of Police overseeing districts, security, crime, IGI Airport, Railways, and Metro were in attendance.
Commissioner Sanjay Arora emphasized the importance of seamless interstate collaboration to address cross-border issues, potential threats, and intelligence sharing. The meeting focused on ensuring incident-free Republic Day celebrations and maintaining law and order during the Delhi Assembly elections.
