Mumbai: In response to the heightened security situation in Srinagar following the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, IndiGo Airlines has announced a series of passenger-friendly measures, including flexible booking options and additional flights.
The airline stated on Tuesday that it will be waiving charges on rescheduling and cancellations for passengers flying to and from Srinagar. This move comes amid concerns over travel disruptions and safety, as the Kashmir Valley remains tense following the attack that claimed multiple lives, including security personnel.
“To support our customers during this time, IndiGo has extended waivers on rescheduling and cancellation for flights operating in and out of Srinagar,” the airline said in an official release. The waiver is aimed at providing relief to travelers whose plans may have been affected by the evolving security situation.
