Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Wednesday reiterated India’s unyielding resolve to protect its sovereignty, stating that there will be no limit to the nation’s preparedness when it comes to national security. “In safeguarding India's sovereignty, no limit will stand as a barrier for us, this I assure the countrymen,” he declared in a strong message underlining the government’s defence strategy.
Singh emphasized that India is not only ready for any eventuality but also committed to enhancing its response capabilities with full responsibility. “We are fully prepared for such responsible responses in the future as well,” he added. He also acknowledged the critical role of citizens and defence stakeholders in this journey. “If we are so prepared, then you have a very significant role in it,” Singh remarked.
A key highlight of his address was the growing power of India’s defence industrial base. He described it as a driving force behind India’s increasing self-reliance and military capability. “India's expanding defence industrial universe is providing the country with unprecedented strength,” he said, pointing to recent strides in indigenous manufacturing, innovation, and export potential.
