He declared that India has now emerged as the world’s fourth-largest economy, overtaking Japan, and emphasized that the international community sees India as a rising global power.

“The message to the world is that India is in a different league today,” Khurshid said. “They see us as a country that’s emerging as a top country globally. We have moved beyond Japan and are making rapid progress. This is something we need to protect, and we will not let anything distract us from this path.”
His remarks come at a time when India’s economic and diplomatic influence is gaining increasing attention on the global stage. Khurshid also emphasized that such progress must be safeguarded and that the country must stay focused to continue this momentum.
