New Delhi: In a significant declaration of India’s counter-terror strategy, the Ministry of Defence on Wednesday confirmed that the country exercised its ‘Right to Respond’ through #OperationSindoor—a targeted and precise military operation aimed at terror camps located in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).
Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh, addressing the 66th Raising Day celebrations of the Border Roads Organisation (BRO) at the Manekshaw Centre in Delhi Cantonment, lauded the Indian Armed Forces for what he termed a “historic action.” He emphasized that the operation was executed with “precision, precaution, and compassion,” ensuring no civilian casualties while systematically dismantling terrorist infrastructure.
“Backed fully by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the operation sends a strong and unequivocal message against terrorism,” Singh stated, reinforcing the government’s stance of zero tolerance toward cross-border terror threats.
