In a significant outreach to the international strategic community, Lieutenant General DS Rana, Director General of the Defence Intelligence Agency (DG DIA), briefed foreign service attaches from 70 countries on the successful execution of Operation Sindoor, an operation that officials say has redefined the security dynamics between India and Pakistan.

The briefing, conducted under the aegis of the Headquarters Integrated Defence Staff (HQ IDS), showcased India’s growing military prowess and operational precision in new-age warfare. Lt Gen Rana emphasized that Operation Sindoor represents a "new normal" in India’s approach to cross-border threats, highlighting the nation's strength and strategic resolve.

The DG DIA detailed the meticulous planning behind target selection, which focused on confirmed terrorist infrastructure. The operation involved integrated, multi-domain coordination and rapid execution by the Indian Armed Forces. Synergised force application under a joint command structure, coupled with the effective use of indigenous kinetic force multipliers, was cited as a hallmark of the mission's success.

India also highlighted its technological edge in the non-kinetic domains of space, cyber, and electronic warfare, reinforcing its status as a regional power capable of full-spectrum response. The briefing exposed the scale and intent behind the adversary's misinformation campaign, describing its impact on regional stability. India’s swift counter-narrative, enabled through a “Whole-of-Nation” approach, was showcased as a model of coordinated strategic communication.
