The wait is over. A delegation of 21 MPs who visited Manipur finally met President Draupadi Murmu in New Delhi today. They sought her intervention in the matter. Members of the I.N.D.I.A. coalition jointly submitted a memorandum to the President. They have written, "We urgently seek your intervention to establish peace and harmony in the state of Manipur without further delay," the memorandum reads. Both the Central and state governments must do their duty to provide justice to the affected communities. We request you to press the Prime Minister to give an urgent address to Parliament on the current situation in Manipur, after which there should be a detailed and detailed discussion on the matter. ‘’
