Foreign affairs expert Robinder Sachdeva calls this a smart diplomatic move. He suggests that these delegations carry brochures and catalogues showcasing systems like Akash, which emerged as a “silent superstar” during the war. According to him, this effort will not only signal India's growing military-industrial maturity but also boost the export potential of homegrown technologies.
While BrahMos is already in high demand globally, with countries like the Philippines importing it, Sachdeva stresses the need to promote other systems that could become India’s next defence export icon.
