In light of the escalating security concerns across the country, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced the postponement of all remaining papers of the CA Final, Intermediate, and Post Qualification Course (PQC) Examinations, including the International Taxation–Assessment Test (INTT AT). The exams, originally scheduled to be held from May 9 to May 14, 2025, have been deferred until further notice.
In an official announcement shared on its social media platforms, ICAI stated: “Important Announcement—In view of the tense security situation in the Country, the remaining papers of CA Final, Intermediate & PQC Examinations [International Taxation–Assessment Test (INTT AT)] May 2025 from 9th May 2025 to 14th May 2025 stand postponed.”
The decision comes amid heightened tensions between India and Pakistan following “Operation Sindoor,” India’s targeted military strikes on terrorist infrastructure across the border. The volatile environment and reported threats to public safety have prompted several institutions and events to reconsider schedules and public gatherings.
