By a staff reporter: CISF has issued a state of high alert in airports across the country and specially Srinagar airport. Speaking exclusively with ANM News over phone from Delhi, special director general of CISF, aviation security, Praveer Ranjan mentioned that extra forces have been deployed at Srinagar airport and officials have been instructed to be more careful and observant. According to sources at the ministry of home affairs, intelligence agencies have flagged soft spots which could be targeted by terrorists.
The Pahalgam incident has proved that Srinagar and Jammu and Kashmir is still vulnerable and security has been tightened amid speculation that India will retaliate. Indian agencies are concentrating on tracking down the terrorists responsible for the attack and take action against them and their handlers.
