Free electricity, announced the Chief Minister

But this time Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has made a big announcement for the people of Karnataka. Siddaramaiah said that 200 units of electricity will be made completely free for domestic consumers in Karnataka. As a result, if up to 200 units of electricity are used, the domestics of Karnataka will not have to pay any electricity bill. Siddaramaiah has just formed the government in Karnataka. At the outset, the announcement is expected to more strengthen Congress' ground in Karnataka.
