This is a big breaking explosive disclosure from a former railway minister. The Balasore train tragedy could be an act of sabotage, alleged Dinesh Trivedi. The former railway minister claimed that circumstantial evidence indicates that the tracks were tampered forcing the superfast Coromandel Express to derail. More than 238 persons have died and over 600 injured in one of the worst train accidents in living memory. Trivedi, a BJP leader, claimed that such an incident had happened in the vicinity years earlier and mentioned that ultra left organisations could have a hand behind. ``The cause of the accident needs to be thoroughly investigated. My hunch is sabotage,'' he said. Several bogies of the Coromandel Express jumped tracks and fell sideways when another train coming from the opposite direction, Yeshwantpur Express rammed against them. The bogies went and hit a stationary goods train and passengers were flung in different directions.
