Former CRPF boss tasked with bringing normalcy in Manipur

With the state government failing to control mindless violence in Manipur, the union home ministry has sent former CRPF director general and celebrated top cop Kuldiep Singh as the security advisor. Singh, a 1986 batch IPS officer of West Bengal cadre has served with distinction in several capacities and is known to be a no nonsense officer. Singh has been tasked with bringing normalcy in Manipur and ANM News have learnt that he has taken a few strong measures.
