By Rupanjal Chauhan: In a recent statement, The Director General of the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), Dr. Mrityunjay Mohapatra released a weather advisory on Monday predicting a dip in temperatures across central India between the 5th to 11th of January. 

Moreover, Mohapatra also highlighted temperatures during the day would also be below usual, resulting in cold day conditions. Regions in central India such as southern parts of Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, and northern parts of Maharashtra are possibly impacted. 

The advisory aims to alert the residents of these regions and take precautionary steps to battle the cold spell. Authorities are advised to take imperative steps to ensure the well-being of the public, taking into account the combination of colder night and day temperatures.
