ED To Demand Arvind Kejriwal's Judicial Custody Today

Delhi CM and AAP National Convener Arvind Kejriwal will be produced before the Rouse Avenue Court today at around 11:30 AM. If Rouse Avenue Court grants judicial custody to Kejriwal, he will be imprisoned in the Tihar Jail for around 14 days.

BY A STAFF REPORTER: As Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal's custody ends today, the Enforcement Directorate will seek Arvind Kejriwal's judicial custody for 14 days before the Rouse Avenue Court on April 1, Monday. 

Moreover, Delhi CM and AAP National Convener Arvind Kejriwal will be produced before the Rouse Avenue Court today at around 11:30 AM. If Rouse Avenue Court grants judicial custody to Kejriwal, he will be imprisoned in the Tihar Jail for around 14 days. 

Moreover, Delhi's Rouse Avenue Court on Thursday extended Arvind Kejriwal's ED remand till April 1 in connection with the Delhi Liquorgate case. The ED demanded a seven-day extension of Kejriwal's custody due to his alleged evasive replies and non-cooperation in the investigation. However, the court extended the remand for four days.

Furthermore, Delhi's Rouse Avenue Court Remanded Delhi CM and AAP National Convener Arvind Kejriwal to ED Custody till March 28 in the Delhi Liquorgate case on March 22, Friday. The decision came as ED demanded 10-day custody of Kejriwal and submitted 28 pages of evidence alleging his involvement in the Delhi Liquor Policy Scam. 

The Enforcement Directorate arrested Delhi CM and AAP National Convener Arvind Kejriwal from his residence in connection with the Delhi Liquorgate case. He was arrested following search operations and Interrogations conducted by the ED at his residence on Thursday evening.
