MYSURU, Karnataka – In a significant stride in the ongoing investigation into the alleged Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) scam, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has confiscated 142 properties linked to the case. The move marks a breakthrough in addressing allegations of widespread corruption and illegal land allotments.
Speaking on the development, Snehamayi Krishna, the original complainant in the case, expressed satisfaction and renewed determination to continue her legal battle. “It seems like I have won, and my claim has been proved,” she stated, emphasizing her long-standing allegations about irregularities within MUDA.
Krishna further alleged that thousands of plots had been illegally allotted, resulting in embezzlement of crores of rupees. She said, “I have already highlighted multiple times that this scam involves large-scale corruption. The ED's action is a step in the right direction, and I am confident that more illegal assets will be seized in the coming days.”
The ED's confiscation of properties comes amid mounting pressure to uncover the full scale of the alleged scam. While the exact value of the seized assets has not been disclosed, the action indicates the agency's commitment to unraveling the financial irregularities.
Krishna assured that her fight for justice is far from over. “My legal fight will continue,” she affirmed, underscoring her dedication to holding those responsible accountable.
