Faridabad: An Enforcement Directorate (ED) team on Tuesday left the premises of Al-Falah University after carrying out search operations as part of an ongoing money laundering investigation. The action comes in connection with the Red Fort area car blast case, which had earlier prompted scrutiny of entities linked to the incident.
During the coordinated searches across Delhi-NCR, the ED arrested Jawad Ahmed Siddiqui, chairman of the Al-Falah group and a key figure associated with the university’s trust and operations.
Officials said the searches were aimed at uncovering financial irregularities and potential money laundering activities tied to individuals and entities linked to the blast case. The arrest marks a significant development in the probe, which has widened over recent weeks.
