BY A STAFF REPORTER: An earthquake measuring 5.0 on the Richter scale hit the Andaman and Nicobar Islands on Wednesday, the National Centre for Seismology (NCS) said. The NCS said the quake struck at 5:40 a.m. and had a depth of 10 kilometers. However, there have been no reports of casualties or damage as a result of the quake.
