Dhaka: DG Level Conference Between India, Bangladesh Starts Today

The 54th Director General Level Border Coordination Conference will be held between India's Border Security Force and Border Guard Bangladesh from 5th March to 9th March in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

BY A STAFF REPORTER: The 54th Director General Level Border Coordination Conference will be held between India's Border Security Force and Border Guard Bangladesh from 5th March to 9th March in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Moreover, the Indian delegation led by BSF DG Nitin Agrawal will hold a dialogue with the Bangladesh delegation led by BGB DG Major General Mohammad Ashrafuzzaman Siddiqui. Furthermore, the delegations will discuss several issues pertaining to border management, precisely the prevention of border crimes, issues related to border infrastructure, joint efforts for effective implementation of the coordinated border management plan (CBMP), river bank protection works, water sharing between both countries, and many more.

The previous Director General Level Border Coordination Conference between India and Bangladesh took place between 11th June and 14th June 2023 at BSF Camp Chhawala, New Delhi.
